What we do
We change the software of the engine control unit (remap, ECU reflash), and we do custom tuning on the dyno. Scope:
- fuel and ignition maps,
- ETV, that is the electronic throttle,
- removal of power, torque and speed restrictions,
- pops & bangs (a video with a Kawasaki Z900RS; video in Polish); more videos are on the Motokofeina channel (videos in Polish).
Pops & bangs is a modification for track and sport use: on public roads, homologation regulations apply.
Two routes to a map
ECU reflash from the repository. The Motokofeina repository holds over 15,000 files covering almost all makes. Maps from it are flashed by workshops from our network across Poland. Prefer to send in your ECU? See remote ECU reflash.
Custom tuning on the dyno. The motorcycle runs on a DynoMaster + SportDevices dyno, which measures power and torque at the wheel and at the crank. The dyno has no opinions, only a chart. Tuning takes six steps:
- Measurement before tuning.
- Logging.
- Map correction.
- Logging.
- Map verification.
- Measurement after tuning.

ECU files only in MAPFIX
We read and edit ECU files exclusively in MAPFIX. Motokofeina produces and develops this software.

Frequently asked questions
How does an ECU reflash from the repository differ from custom tuning?
An ECU reflash means loading a map from the Motokofeina repository (over 15,000 files, almost all makes), which is also done by workshops from the network. Custom tuning is done on the dyno: measurement before tuning, logging, map correction, logging, map verification, measurement after tuning. We will agree which route suits your motorcycle once you describe it.
Will you remove the speed or power limiter?
Removing power, torque and speed restrictions is part of our offer. Details and examples: power derestriction. We will check whether it can be done on your motorcycle once you give us the make, model and year.
What software do you use to edit ECU files?
We read and edit ECU files exclusively in MAPFIX, software that Motokofeina produces and develops.
I live far from Nadarzyn. What can I do?
